Information about the Project

The project involves the environmental permitting of an electricity storage station on a 5-hectare site in Vonitsa.

Lithium batteries are the widely used technology in most energy storage systems, as they are efficient and withstand many charge-discharge cycles.

It is planned to install 99 containers, each with 8 battery racks, with a total installed nominal power of 99 MW and an energy storage capacity of 396 MWh.

The Station will be connected by an underground medium voltage line to the existing lifting substation in Aktio.
